Mrs. Chase has been active in local politics since her teenage years
when she was President of the Young Republicans of Luquillo, Puerto Rico. While living in Virginia Jo-Ann worked on George
Allen's senatorial campaign and was a delegate for Col. Oliver North during his run for the senate. While in South Carolina
she ran for the local school board and was appointed by Governor Mark Sanford to the Economic Development Task Force. Jo-Ann
was also appointed Chairwoman of the Hispanic Outreach Committee of the South Carolina Republican Party. As
a board member, Jo-Ann helped found the South Carolina Hispanic Leadership Council.
Currently Jo-Ann serves as Chairwoman of the Loudoun County
Republican Party Committee Voter Identification Program and is a member of the Loudoun County Republican Women's
Club. She is the Broker/Owner of Exclusive Realty, Inc., a real estate brokerage firm in Northern Virginia. Jo-Ann is
the proud parent of a son, John, who attends college at Winthrop University in South Carolina; and a daughter, Suzzette, who
is a practicing attorney in Washington, D.C. and former special counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
